Two Peas Gardeners' Digest - August

Welcome to this month's Gardeners' Digest!  The Garden Girls from Two Peas are hopping along today, sharing some great inspiration & giveaways!

Be sure to start your hop at the Two Peas blog.  :)

As always, I'll have a new Trendy Trios cardmaking video for you on the 1st of the month.  I'm pretty excited about this month's trend.  It's perfect for the back to school season!  :)

Oh my goodness.  Glitz has really knocked it out of the park with their latest releases.  Here's just a sampling of what I mean.  I LOVE this paper with the faux paint.  Scrumptious!

And here are a couple of my other favorites from their Wild & Free collection.  That paper is just... mmm!  I'm not good at mixed media, but this paper does all the work for me.  And.. this stamp set just rocks!  Perfect for the everyday.

Enamel dots shaped as hearts?!?  Oh yes.  I'll take two servings, please!

I love stars.  They're great for boys & girls, the everyday & special occasions.  What's not to love?

I love this layout by fellow Garden Girl, Elizabeth Kartchner!  The colors are just amazing & I love all of the little details she added to create this fun design.  You can watch a video of her process here.

I recently signed up for Jill Sprott's new workshop Scrapbooking From The Soul.  I've only made it through a tiny fraction of the class so far & I already feel so inspired!  I love the way Jill expresses her thoughts through scrapbooking.  Every piece of the design tells part of the story & it is just brilliant.

The class is only $12 & is a STEAL for the awesome content that's included!

Here's a little information about the class from Jill:
As scrapbookers, we do not document life as passive observers -- we have the power to make meaning, sharing what matters in ways that matter. Join Garden Girl Jill Sprott for Scrapbooking from the Soul, a workshop that explores ways to embrace the “soul scrapper” within and infuse pages with layers of meaning.  In this workshop, Jill shares a variety of approaches and strategies for how to become more invested in creating layouts that feel authentic to you as well as authentically you. The workshop emphasizes in particular the role that journaling plays in enhancing meaning and contributing to a sense of unity...If you would like to adopt a more thoughtful approach to your layouts, hone your journaling skills, and seek the “soul” within your scrapbooking, then this workshop was made for you.

How would you like to win a spot in this amazing new workshop?!?  Just leave a comment on this post & I'll draw a winner on Wednesday, August 28th.  ***You must include your Two Peas username so that if you win, the class can be added to your account. ***

Good luck & thanks for stopping by!

The next stop on the blog hop is....

Two Peas Gardeners' Digest {July Edition}

Welcome to the Gardeners' Digest, a monthly blog hop with the Garden Girls from Two Peas In a Bucket!  I've missed the last couple of blog hops & I'm so happy to be back in the game.  ;)  This summer has been busy to say the least!

You can start your hop at the Two Peas blog.  Follow along to find lots of inspiration, product spotlights, and more!
As always, join me on the first of the month for my latest Trendy Trios class/video!  You can check out July's topic {watercoloring} here.

I thought I'd try something new & do a quick video of my favorite products this month.
And... here are some photos of the products featured in the video, along with links:
#1 Lawn Fawn stamps & matching dies

#2 Chic Tags Week Day Note Cards

#3 Two Peas Exclusive Star Paper Clips & Wood Cards

#4 Simple Stories Sn@p! Flair Icon Badges

#5 October Afternoon Travel Girl Miscellany
I am SO inspired by this Travel Memories album by Kelly Goree!  She used products from the new BasicGrey Capture & Carte Postale collections to create this stunning mini album.  BasicGrey has some of the coolest products out right now for documenting with pocket pages!  I think I'm going to use one of them to document our recent vacation.  Sigh... Well done, BasicGrey.  Well Done.  :)

From here, make sure to hop over to the next blog:

Welcome to the April edition of the Gardeners' Digest, a monthly blog hop from the Garden Girls of Two Peas in a Bucket.

Make sure to start your hop at the Two Peas blog & then follow the links to see what inspiration is in store!
Make sure to check out my latest Trendy Trios series on May 1st!  April's trendy theme was the color gold & next month's theme features color too... with a fun twist.
Did you know that Two Peas releases a new video each & every day?

I've started watching a video or two while on the treadmill & I can't believe how much more enjoyable exercising has become!  I finished two videos, looked down & realized I had clocked over two miles.  I call it the Two Peas Fitness Plan.  ;)  Distraction is not just for children, my friends!  It works wonders on adults too.

OK... so I know this section is for FIVE products, but I just couldn't narrow my faves down from six.  Just consider this a bonus.  ;)
#1. Daily Details stamp set by Elle's Studio

Perfect for adding that special touch to your Project Life album!
#2. Kate & Co. collection from My Mind's Eye

Seriously.  I don't know if you could find a more beautiful floral.  The "B" side is super fun too.  Love the navy stripes!
#3. Luxe Rub-ons by Pink Paislee

I love rub-ons & these are so trendy and cool!  The small shapes would make the perfect accent.

I just got this fun trim in my hot little hands & it has quickly become a favorite!  The ombre effect of the multicolored strand is just drool-worthy!

I love text added to paper crafted projects & these filter sheets are such a unique new product!  I can't wait to try them out!
#6. White Washi Tape by Freckled Fawn

I have washi tape in every color & pattern... but I don't have anything like this!  I think the idea of white washi is just brilliant.  This roll is in my shopping cart & I can't wait to try it out.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today!  Make sure to hop over to the next stop, which is...

Two Peas Gardeners' Digest - March Edition

Welcome to the Two Peas Gardeners' Digest - a monthly blog hop with the Garden Girls!

You can begin your hop at the Two Peas blog & then follow along to see all of the posts today.

I'm really excited about the next installment of the Trendy Trios series!  I'll be focussing on a glamourous trend that I think you're going to love!  Make sure to join me at Two Peas on April 1st!  (No joke!)

Are you ready for a little crafty enabling?  ;)

Here are some of my top picks from the Two Peas shop:

I just ordered this stamp set.  I think it rocks & I can't wait to ink it up.  I think it's going to work really well in my Project Life album too because half of my life is spent crafting! (... or at least it feels like it sometimes.)

#2. The Composition & Color Collection by Alison Kreft/Webster's Pages

Oh me, oh my!  Seriously.  This collection just makes my hands sweat & my heart flutter.  It just feels like "me" & that makes me want to snatch it all up & wallpaper my house in it.  If you were a Hambly fan back in the day, you'll be as excited as I am to see Alison's work again. (P.S. There are also transparencies!!!)

#3. Basics Candy Buttons by Basic Grey

I have a strong addiction to enamel dots & these need to come live in my house!  This shade of blue is my favorite right now & yellow is my all-time favorite color... so it's a match made in heaven in my book!  I love that they come in so many different sizes too.

#4.  The Road Trip Collection by Chic Tags

I just ordered some of these adorable new embellishments & I can't wait to have them in my hot little hands.  I love how the note tags lift for added memos & the file die cuts are going to be perfect for my cards, layouts & Project Life!  The colors are beautiful & I love their trendy design.

#5. Daphne's Closet by Lawn Fawn

When you pair ubber cuteness with a retro flair, you get one of my favorite product picks!  I love the awesome patterns & colors in this collection.  Daphne, I'd raid your closet any day!

I am head-over-heels in love with this project by Catherine Davis called Preschool Projects.

She took photographs of her children's art projects, shrunk them down using Photoshop & added them to Project Life cards.  I have a huge tote full of my boys' projects & I think this method of memory keeping is just brilliant!  I love the clothespins holding up each piece of art too.  :)

Thanks for dropping by!  The next stop on the hop is the lovely & talented Shimelle Laine!  Hop on over to see what she's up to today!  :)
