Garden Girl Blog Hop

Welcome to the Two Peas in a Bucket Garden Girl Blog Hop! A Garden Girl is the title we receive as designers for the Two Peas website. As Garden Girls we create projects, host challenges, teach classes, and participate in events all designed to inspire your creativity. This week the Garden Girls are sponsoring special projects and giveaways on our personal blogs. Be sure to follow the list below as you hop from one blog to the next. Each Garden Girl is hosting her own giveaway so be sure to read the instructions for how you can participate in each contest. If you get lost simply either start at the beginning of the blog hop again or skip to the next blog listed below.

Hopefully you arrived from Wendy Sue Anderson's blog.  Your next stop is Jenny Chesnick's blog.

I have a fun prize from Two Peas to give away, so make sure you read this entire post to find out how you can win!

I've been having a blast with my new Silhouette Cameo die cutting machine!  My baby sister is newly engaged & I thought I'd make her a lovey dovey tag book to jot down memories.
(click on photos to see details)

This envelope template was one of the downloads that comes standard with the new Silhouette software.  I cut out several & added die cut tags to each of the pockets.

I tucked my tag booklet into a paper sack and decorated the front to match.  The words "you & me" were die-cut from pink vinyl.

I hope you've enjoyed taking a peek at my little book of love!  I have a $15 Two Peas gift certificate up for grabs!!!  All you have to do is comment to be entered in the drawing.  For an additional chance to win, simply go to Two Peas & leave a second comment, telling me one item that's on your wish list!  (Here is a link to some of the hot items in the shop now to give you a place to start.)

The winner will be announced on Tuesday, November 8th, so make sure to check back to see if you've won!

A Little Shopping Spree & A Give-a-way to you!

So... I recently treated myself to some fun new crafty goodies & thought I'd share.  I found a new (to me) shop on Etsy called It's Always Fabulous while on a search for October Afternoon's new Modern Homemaker collection.  I was really excited when I found the 8x8 pads on her site (they are several $$$ cheaper here than other online shops) & her shipping prices are great too!  If you follow her blog, you can type the word "FOLLOW" right now in the comments section at checkout to receive half price shipping.  I received my order just a few days after my purchased.  Love that!  :)

So... want to see what I got?  :)

From the top:  OA Modern Homemaker 8x8 paper pad, Modern Homemaker Wild Cards, Sassafras Mix and Mend 6x6 Wee Bundle, Melissa Frances Deck the Halls Rub-on Transfers, 7 Gypsies large brown binding rings (for my December Daily book), Jenni Bowlin's Malted Milk paint dauber, Basic Grey's Curio Rub-Ons, & 7 Gypsies Victoria Paper Tape

If you order, tell her that you came from Stamped In His Image!  She's having a promotion right now & I have a few more goodies on my 'wish' list.  :)

So... I want to do something for you too!  I have a little pre-holiday treat for you!  Leave me a comment on this post & I'll draw a random winner on Saturday to receive:

This Cosmo Cricket set from Unity!

and...

This coveted free stamp & coupon found only with certain issues of Paper Crafts Nov/Dec magazine.  You'll be able to get 30% off your total purchase from Unity AND get your holiday stamping on!  :)

Happy Shopping!  :)

Quick Christmas Gifts and BLOG CANDY!!!

I mentioned having some Blog Candy on my last post.... so here you go!!! :)

Card Creations - Quick & Easy II

Card Creations #6

Paper Crafts Jan/Feb

I wanted to thank all of my readers for coming to visit over the past year! I can't believe I've had over 100K visits so far! So... as a 'thank you!', I'm offering up a few magazines for one lucky reader! :) I have cards in each of these magazines & am super excited to share them with you! Read through this post to find out how YOU can win! :)

Do you remember me telling you about
these downloadable calendars from A Muse? They are a great, inexpensive way to make those last-minute gifts... and the proceeds go to a wonderful cause! I just used cardboard coasters (covered with patterned paper) along with my Bind-it-All for mine... but I'm sure you can come up with other ways to present them if you don't own a binding machine.

I used Kim Hughes' Number Fun set to stamp the year on the front of my calendar & added a few rub-ons to give it a pop of color.

I found a huge assortment of boxed holiday cocoa at Wal-Mart and wanted to package it in a fun way. I basically wrapped it in cardstock to create a slider box.

And... here is what it looks like open:

To make a super quick, coordinating gift bag, I simply covered a Kraft bag with paper! I couldn't get a great shot of this, but the white area is super shimmery in real life. I added a chipboard snowflake (covered in shimmery ink) as my gift tag.

Here's another quick bag I made. This is a great way to use up that holiday paper that you HAD to have... and then never got around to using. (not that I know anything about that....) ;)
Below is another bag I made, using a downloadable tag from the Black Apple. These tags are SO cute... and the best part? --- they're FREE!!! You really need to go check them out. All of the designs are super fun!
This is the bag I made for some of my friends and my boys' teachers. It has hot cocoa, holiday chocolates, and a matching mug inside. This tag was just what I needed!

So... do you want to win some blog candy? Just leave me a comment on this post. If you already have one of these publications, just let me know. I might have another one that you'd like to add to your craft library. :) I'll pick a random winner on December 26th. Be sure to come back and visit to see if you won!!!
