Lawn Fawn Inspiration: Grand Greetings & Flying By

I've been having some computer woes so I'm a little behind in sharing my projects for Inspiration Week.  So... while I have a few minutes of internet access, I wanted to share a couple of projects I made with two more of the new spring releases.

This set is called Grand Greetings.  As you can see, this is a sentiment set on steroids.  ;)  I didn't have anything like this in my arsenal, so I'm really excited about this set!  The sentiments are ones that I would reach for over & over & I love how perfect they are for both the outside and the inside of your cards.

As you can see, these sentiment stamps can really stand on their own.  I love the bold, handwritten font.

I paired the sentiment with the stork from Plus One.  The crepe ruffles and floral paper are from the Dear Lizzy Neapolitan collection & the pale orange paper is from Doodlebug Designs. I think they were meant for each other.  :)

The other featured stamp set is called Flying By.  I love these trendy paper airplane images.  They're perfect for my family of boys!

For this card, I paper pieced a couple of airplanes & popped them up over a OA Wild Card.  I added a bit of whirly twirly stitching & stamped a sentiment from the Cruising Through Life set.

Make sure to check out the Lawn Fawn blog today for more inspiration from the team as well as a chance to win the sets being featured this week.

Go-to Gals Challenge: Bella Blvd.

Once a month, the Paper Crafts Go-to Gals like to get together and create projects using some fun products that we've received.  This month, we're featuring products from Bella Blvd.

My oldest son just finished his regular season of soccer & their team made its way to the final championship game.  The big game is in about a week & a half & we're all so excited!!!  I never thought I would be one of those parents who get completely absorbed into their kids' sporting events... but I am definitely a whole-hearted soccer mom these days!  Watching Eli having fun out on the field just makes my heart swell.

But anyway... back to the crafting world!  ;)  I decided to make the coach a small 'thank you' gift & these products from Bella Blvd. made it super easy to put together.  I love their variety of paper & stickers.  All of the different collections work together so nicely!

The big award ribbon comes from a 12x12 sheet of paper that's filled with fun images that can easily be trimmed to create your own embellishment.

I made a gift box using a clear card box and several Bella Blvd. stickers.  It's the perfect size to hold a gift card or movie tickets along with some candy treats for the family.

Make sure to visit some of the other GTG's blogs today to see what they've created using these fun products!

Congrats Grad!

It's that time of the year!  I can't believe another school year is almost finished!  My little guy just had preschool graduation and my oldest only has a few days to go.  My how time flies!  :)

I'm not quite sure why I made two graduation projects for GIRLS when we have a house full of boys, but nevertheless, here they are!  Anybody need a graduation present for a little Kindergartener?  ;)

I love silhouettes & these stamps by Maya Road are so cute!  (I added a graduation hat from Lawn Fawn's Hats Off to You set.)
This is a little frame I created using paper from Bella Blvd. & October Afternoon rub-ons.  I made the award ribbon from a roll of crepe paper.
