Two Peas Garden Girl Blog Hop!

Yay!  It's the November Garden Girls blog hop today!  Join us as we share projects, inspiration & giveaways from Two Peas In a Bucket.  You can start the blog hop at the Two Peas Blog, which is found here.

Here are a couple of cards I made this week:

I love this sweet little fox image from the Dear Lizzy 5th & Frolic collection! I layered the sticker with die cuts & a sentiment banner from Pebbles. (Love how the minty greens perfectly match!)

I cut some crepe paper strips from an older Dear Lizzy Collection & layered them to create texture. The bokeh paper from Glitz Designs is just gorgeous! The 6x6 pad is full of great patterns in these soft, pretty shades.

I love all of the sweet images Holly Brooke Jones designs for our digital shop! The corn cobs are from her new set Grateful Thoughts & as soon as I saw them, I knew I had to make this card.

Of course, any digi kit can be printed & hand cut, but I love to open them with my Silhouette software & create a print & cut. It's so much faster than cutting by hand, and the cuts are always perfect! If you'd like to learn more about using a digi kit with your Silhouette, you can watch my video here.

To create the cute little faces on the corn, I masked some images from Lawn Fawn & stamped them in place. I used another Lawn Fawn set to spell out the sentiment. (LOVE their alphabet stamps!)

My Aw Shucks card was inspired by this card I found on Pinterest:

#1.  The Sn@p Binder in red - I debated back & forth on what type of album I wanted to use this year to document our family's Christmas & decided this binder would be perfect!  It's 6"x8" & comes with several divided pockets, which makes it so easy to fill with holiday goodness!

#2.  Crate Paper's Sleigh Ride Vellum Tags & Numbers - These are just gorgeous & are the perfect thing for adding the date on each page of a Christmas album.

#3.  Technique Tuesday's December Daily stamp set by Ali Edwards - The perfect blend of whimsy & graphic elements.  LOVE this stamp set!

#4.  Whisker Graphics printed glassine bags - The smaller bags are the perfect size to hold gift cards & the larger bags make a simple gift instantly special.  And... at only $0.25 each, you just can't beat it!

#5.  October Afternoon's Make it Merry Collection - I think this might be my pick for favorite holiday collection of the season.  I love anything with a cute, colorful, vintage design... and this definitely fits in that category!

If you love making mini books, then this is the workshop for you!  Join Amy Heller as she takes you through all four seasons & creates amazing mini albums for the entire year.

If you're planning on making an album to document the winter season (i.e.: a December Daily or even a  non-holiday album), then you'll definitely want to dive into Amy's class.  It's self-paced, so even if you're busy with the holidays, you can catch up any time & document photos & memories during this time.  Here is a little more information about this workshop:

Tis the season to create your holiday mini albums!  In Seasonal Storytelling with Amy Heller, you are given not only inspiration for documenting your special holiday memories, but ideas for EVERY season of the year.  This workshop will jumpstart your creativity all year long as you work through the four inspiration-packed chapters that include:

* EIGHT mini album samples with nearly 200 pages total of inspiration.  You'll see four albums created by Amy and four mini books by special guests Kristina Nicolai-White, Jill Sprott, Suzanne Sergi and Jana Werner.

* Four album approaches.  Amy gives you the tools to assess what format is best for you.

* Over 80 minutes of video giving a close-up look at Amy's albums as well as in-depth tutorials.

* Five printable chapter guides featuring a detailed look at each album, extra tips, "Bucket lists" of topics, and notes from the designer.

* Exclusive printable journaling cards used as the base of one of the featured albums.

* A private message board forum where you can chat with Amy, ask questions and connect with other students.

How would you like to WIN a spot in this workshop?  Just leave a comment on this post letting me know what you'd like to document during this season.  (Please leave your Two Peas user name as well.)  I'll draw one winner on Tuesday, November 27th.

From here, hop on over to Becky Novacek's blog to see even more inspiration!
