I've been having SO much fun getting back to my love of fabric and sewing. :) I made several bags for Christmas gifts and finally had a chance to make some extras.... and one for myself!
Here is MY bag! I'm in love with it. I can't lie. The green fabric is from a new collection by Anna Marie Horner called 'Little Folks' and the top is a nice, dark, dressy denim. I had a complete stranger compliment my bag the first time I 'took it for a spin'... so that was pretty exciting. I told my husband, "See! I told you it was cool!" LOL!
Here is my latest bag that I like to call my "Chocolate Truffle Tote". It's made of dark chocolate corduroy (love that stuff!) and a fun toffee-colored plaid... with a hint of rust. Very wintery and cosy. :) It's ~ 25" tall and 16' wide. You can find it in my Etsy shop if interested!
Now... why this pic wants to go sideways, I'll never know. Anywhoo... this is the inside of the bag... complete with a big corduroy pocket.
And here's my little sis... who I made model all of my bags for me. :) I thought she was a better model candidate than my husband (even though he is a cutey!)
Here's my sis modeling the "Little Janey" bag. It's one of the bags I showed you earlier, made with denim and a fun yellow floral print inside.
And here she is with the "American Jane Tote". I just wanted a visual so that you could SEE how big this bag was. You could stick a small child in it, if necessary. ;)
Thanks for checking out my new duds! I have several more ideas on the cutting block! :)
This is one awesome bag. I just love it!
