This is a card I made for the Moxie Fab World Challenge #3 (making a card that incorporates a peacock). Have you seen the new Moxie Fab blog? If not, please check it out HERE! Paper Craft's Cath Edvalson created this blog & it's FULL of trendy goodness! :)
So... I really didn't think I could come up with something 'peacock' & figured they weren't kidding when they said that it was a 'challenge'! Yikes! But... a few nights ago, I was at Hobby Lobby searching for Christmas decorations and passed this isle FULL of feathers! Light bulb! And could you believe they had several packages of peacock feathers to chose from? Who knew!?! I guess that's why Cath is in charge of this blog. She knows her stuff and is on top of the trends on the market! So... I got home and started looking through my stamps and came across a backgrounder that was screaming to be inked up! I think this Victorian Pattern Backgrounder is so pretty! I embossed it in deep brown EP and paired it with some jewel toned cardstock. Voila!
Now I'm just crossing my fingers that the Paper Crafts girls will think it's Moxielicious and pick me as one of their winners. ;) I love a challenge!
