Live, Love, Bloom

Today is the release of a new line of stamps at Cornish Heritage Farms called 'The Rummage Bin' by Lesley Langdon! They are perfect for those who like to dabble a little in scrapbooking and card making. I've never claimed to be a scrapbooker (although I really need to start)... but I know I would definitely put these images to good use on my cards and alterable projects. Her Primitive set has my name ALL OVER IT! Our house is decorated in primitive country, so it's #1 on my 'to buy' list.

Would you like to win some FREE stamps from the Rummage Bin? There are lots of fun & games going on right now to celebrate!

Isn't this a fantastic sentiment? These images are from Kim Hughes' newest release (Silhouette Blooms II). This is a card I made for this weeks SCS sketch challenge (I just flipped the sketch on it's side).

I wanted to make a sweet feminine card and these new images from Kim Hughes were just what I was looking for!

I stamped the bloom in Shell Pink and the stem in willow (I added the two colors by using just the edge of my stamp pad to gently apply color where I wanted). I also used Latte ink to apply a soft brown hue to the edges.

Paper: Prismatics in White, Iced Pink, & Suede Brown Dark

Ink: Adirondack (Shell Pink, Willow, Espresso, & Latte)

Accessories: Making Memories Noteworthy Glitter Jigsaws & Spiral Notebook; EK Success small corner rounder (to create scalloped edge); Heidi Swapp photo corners; Sakura Souffle pen (white) - to create dotted border and to add dimension to flower)

This is a close up view of my card - just so you can see the texture on the Prism paper. Isn't it yummy?
