I was able to get a lot of stamping done on Saturday during Cornish Heritage Farms birthday bash for Lisa's 3oth! One of the challenges was to "be inspired" by one of Lisa's cards (found HERE) and create a card of our own.
So this is the card I came up with:
I was really having fun with "water coloring" with my Copic markers! I basically colored in the images solidly and then used my Copic Colorless Blender to lighten certain areas. I also used some of Tim Holtz's distress ink on the edges of all of the layers.
This awesome paper is by We R Memory Keepers (Precious Metal Coppered Out Collection). I found a link HERE on Amazon if you're looking for it. I love it! You'll be seeing more of this on my blog later (and another Precious Metal Collection)!
The nest and bird image are from Kim Hughes' Collection at Cornish Heritage Farms (Pretty Birds set). I stamped the nest, masked it, and then stamped the bird. The swirl image to the right of the ribbon is also from CHF (Cute Curls set). The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink's Paper Tray set. It's so simple, but the font is PERFECT!
I used my Martha punch to add an embossed eyelet edge on my card. The large felt flower is from American Crafts.
