When was the last time you totally relaxed and took time for yourself? To tell you the truth, ever since I've had my boys, I can honestly say that times like these are very rare! On Saturday, I spent hours cleaning the bathrooms, doing the dishes, washing the clothes, picking up toys.... You get the idea! I was really exhausted... and then I had a light bulb moment. My friend from work just started an in-home business creating bath products and had sent one home with me weeks ago for me to try out. And... since I had just scrubbed the tubs, I thought it might be the perfect opportunity to take a soak!
I haven't bathed forever! (Ok... I SHOWER every day --- so don't take that the wrong way!) It's just that my 'bathing' time is usually rushed and is not relaxing. I sneak into the shower before my kids wake up or after they're asleep for the night (whenever I know they won't be getting into trouble!) So... I filled up the tub with really warm water and droped in the "Bath Bomb" that Cynthia sent me. (I left the kids with my hubby and locked the door!)
Instantly it started to fizz and smelled HEAVENLY! I'm not sure what she puts in them, but it feels so soothing! She told me that she puts grape seed oil in the recipe (I don't know what that is exactly... but it makes your skin feel really soft!) :)
Anyway... I asked her if I could give some of her product away for blog candy! She graciously accepted.... so I'm giving away a Bath Bomb to one lucky reader! Along with this yummy treat, I will also include this card (above) that I made today!
So do you want to know how to win?!? Tell me what scent(s) you would like to try! You must leave a comment on this post (and leave contact info!) And... I am taking pre-orders for her. (Great for holiday gifts!). If you would like to order something, just send me an e-mail. (julie_stamps@hotmail.com) Shipping will be based on weight and payments can be made through Paypal. If you send me a pre-order by Saturday (November 10th), you will receive an additional entry! (just leave me another message in the comment section!) Drawing will take place on Sunday, November 11th.

Isn't it funny how everyone is different? I'm thinking the Woodland Pear would be my favorite. I'm not into overly sweet smells and this one sounds like it'd be toned down and maybe a little musky (with the vanilla).
ReplyDeleteJane
