Sorry it's been a few days since my last post! I've been busy celebrating my birthday! On Thursday, I went out to dinner with some of my family. I didn't care WHERE we went, as long as they served warm choclate lava cake and vanilla ice cream! Yum!!!! I had to work on Friday (I had the worst day I've ever had there and had such a splitting headache, I couldn't do much of anything when I came home). And then... Saturday, my husband took me out on a surprise date.
My niece, Nikki, celebrated her 14th birthday earilier this month. And... since I am such an awesome aunt -- I totally forgot about it until it was my birthday! So, this one was sent about a week too late. Really nice since my biggest hobby is making cards! Too bad I'm not more organized! Woops!
I wanted to make her something that was 'all grown up'! I can't believe she's a teenager! I remember when my husband & I were first dating and meeting her for the first time. She was just a toddler! And now..... she's turning into a beautiful young woman. It's crazy!
I used some of my stamps from Cornish Heritage Farms' Kim Hughes Collection. These are my new favorite stamps! Love them!!! And this paper is soooooo yummy! I found it at Michaels (K&Co Wild Saffron collection). The fabric brad in the center of the Prima matches the paper too! (This is GOOD stuff! You've got to check it out!) The card sketch comes from CPS (see my side bar!). Ahh! I love a good sketch!
Love this card...Looks like you had a good birthday!!!!
