Are you dreaming about MORE BLOG CANDY!?!?!

Can I just tell you what an awesome time I've been having lately? I'm living out my dream, baby! I LOVE being a designer. The people I've come to know are some of the best! I don't know if you have been with me since the beginning of the summer, but I posted that I had some big goals. I wanted to be on a design team and I wanted to get published. I had no idea that part of that dream would come true so soon. My ultimate goal is to somehow make paper crafting my career. I'm not quite sure how to get there, but I hope I'm on the right path. Being able to do what I love every day and help support my family would be heaven!

When I saw this quote on Rubber Soul's website, I knew I had to have it. The stamp reads "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams." --- Eleanor Roosevelt. I truly believe in what these words say.

Don't you just love this paper? I got this from Lindsey at Jacksonbelle Embellishments. (Cosmo Cricket - Gretel) It goes perfectly with Ruby Red, Chocolate Chip, and Sage Shadow (by SU). I don't know why, but I never liked Sage Shadow before recently. Now... I LOVE IT! It looks so good when you distress it with a little Sahara Sand ink too.

I didn't have any large brads the right color, so I used a Copic marker to change a yellow brad to a wood-toned shade. I heat set it just a bit to lock in the color.

So.... are you interested in some more awesome Blog Candy???? How about this clear Wedding set by Rubber Soul??? :) All you have to do is leave me a comment (with your name!) telling me about one of your dreams. It can be about anything! But please, either subscribe to my blog or add me to your Google Reader so you won't miss a future post revealing the winner. I always hate having blog candy sitting here lonely with no one to claim it! I will draw a random winner on Saturday.... so drop me a line!

You are giving away the stamp set that I dream of getting from Rubber Soul. I just LOVE their stamps, but have not made the plunge yet b/c of financial limitations. They will certainly be my next company to order online from.

    So, that is my goal..
    Thanks for sharing.

  2. I'm living in one of my dreams - I'd always been a bit worried about the cost of stamps - they're so expensive - so I hated to buy many. One day our son asked me to send some for the women in his office to see & the rest is history! I've sold about $300. so far & the orders keep coming. What a great way to finance my stamping!

  5. Your card is so pretty. Wow sweet giveaway to clebrate your dreams come true. Part of my dream is in process now. I lost my job a week ago, due to merging in with a large company. So I decided to make this a postive situation and we are going to move back to Tennessee. I've heard there's jobs down there too! Thanks for a chance.

Anyway, my dream is to expand what I'm already doing...getting published, being a designer, making a living doing this! Kind of what you want to do {hee hee!} Problem is there's a LOT of people wanting to do the same thing. But there's room for all of us, right? Thanks for the giveaway, that's an awesome set!

Great card, I like to "alter' brads and other metal embellishments to fit my color scheme too. Leaves a lot of room for options! Your stitching looks so good with that PP.

One of my dreams is to live sustainably off the land and off the "grid". I want to grow all my own food, produce all the electricity/power I need, collect grey water for most everything and just plain live siimply, co-existing with the world around me. I know it sounds silly to some, but it's MY dream, and I works towards it everyday.

Well, I have lots of dreams--dealing with family, financial security, career--but the one dream I have right now is that the new knee in my leg frees me from the pain I've been in for the last 3 years so that I can have a better quality of life. Being in constant pain is SO draining. Thank goodness I have your blog and my stamps to keep my mind pre-occupied!
