Stitch Fix: Have You Gotten Your Fix Yet?

Have you heard of the new company called Stitch Fix?

Stitch Fix is a personal styling service that delivers right to your door.  Basically, you fill out an in depth Style Profile, select a shipment date, and a stylist sends you a box filled with 5 items that are hand picked for you.

There's a $20 styling fee for each box.  If you decide to keep anything in your box, that styling fee goes toward your purchase.  Shipping & returns are free.  If you keep everything in your box, you get 25% off of everything!

Want to see what was in my first "fix?"

Everything was neatly packaged.  The card above was from my stylist & included pricing information for each item.  (You can chose your preferred pricing in your Style Profile.)  The box also includes a priority shipping bag for your returns.

Overall, I think my stylist did a really good job for my first fix.  (After each fix, they ask for feedback & base future shipments off of your profile & new information.)

Here are the 5 items picked for me:

I thought this dress was really cute.  It actually fit really nicely... except for the elasticized waist.  Not so great for my figure.  It reminded me that I need to start those ab workouts I keep putting off.  ;)

The print was really fun though!

I really wanted to love this blouse.  Really.  I've been wanting a "critter print" top for awhile now, but this peachy color just did nothing for me.  :(   I'm too fair complected, I'm afraid.

The button detail was really cute.

Each item comes with a style guide.  Basically, it gives you some ideas on how to pair your new item with other items from your wardrobe.

This is another item that I really loved!  The tulip print on navy was adorable.  The fit was perfect.  (My dad even nicknamed me "tulip" as a child....)

This sweater vest was super soft & came in a cute color blocked pattern.  Kind of boho-chic.... just not "me."

And last but not least, this map-print scarf:

Kind of fun... but I'm not a fan of square scarves.  I'm sort of scarf-tying-deficient & I didn't know what to do with it.  :)

See, pretty cool, huh?  I think this service is really great for people like me who don't have many places to shop or who are just too busy.

If you think you might like to try Stitch Fix for yourself, I'd love it if you'd use my link.  If you order a fix, I get a discount off of my next box.  :)   And then... tell your friends about this fun new company & you'll get a discount.  I think that's a great incentive that they have, don't you?

Currently, there's a bit of a waiting period (I believe it's 1-4 weeks???) and this company is growing so quickly, it might be different from that now.  I hope you sign up & give it a try... and let me know what you think!

  1. I've heard of this and think it's so cool! Makes me wish I was in the states!

I'd totally keep the tulip and cat shirts. But I hear you on the color. Probably wouldn't look all that great on me either.

And a square scarf? Nope.. I have no idea how to wear those. lol
