Silhouette Love

I love the silhouette trend.  Sure, they're classic in nature, but they can also be so fresh and fun!  Did you know that Paper Crafts Magazine has an open call for submissions to their March/April issue?  You can check it all out HERE.  One of my favorite themes for this call is Cameos & Silhouettes for Babies & Brides.  The new Amy Tangerine collection by American Crafts is PACKED with fun silhouettes.  Here's an idea that would work for either a bride-to-be OR a new wedded couple:

I love, love, LOVE the sticker book by Amy Tan.  It's got pages and pages of trendy elements packed inside!  I layered the silhouette sticker on top of this orange swirly frame to create my focal point.

The sentiment was made with Lawn Fawn's Jessie's ABC's set.  If you don't own any alphabet sets, you really need to check these out!  All of Lawn Fawn's alphabet stamps are created to nest next to one another, making it SO easy to get your letters perfectly aligned.  They are honestly my favorite alpha stamps of all time... and I've tried a LOT of them.  I need to make a video for you so that you can see exactly what I mean.  :)

I decided to use the Mistables Fabric Pleats in their natural state for this card... but they are designed to be sprayed with ink mists to coordinate with whatever project you have in mind.  --- another fun product!

Hope I've inspired you to give this magazine call a try!  All submissions are electronic, so it's super easy to do!
