The snow on the ground outside reminds me that YES... it really is December already! Yikes! For all of you Kit Club subscribers... here is this month's kit!
I just had to ink up this beautiful teacup image first! I love the music score print decorating the cup. Mmmm! And... that little sentiment peeking out is just adorable! I thought my new Mix & Mend (Sassafras) goodies would work well with the image & I'm really happy about how it turned out. :) This paper reminds me of my grandma's bed sheets. It makes me smile inside every time I look at it.
I nestled my teacup right into a big bed of roses. Cabbage rose ribbon makes me pretty happy too. :)
This is a complete side note... but I just noticed that we get the Hallmark channel free during December and I think I've set the DVR to record just about every show. LOL! Earlier last year, we cut back on our satellite package & only get local channels... and I was just thinking how much I was going to miss seeing all of the wonderful Christmas movies on the Hallmark channel. I feel like Christmas came early to the Campbell house. I just love unexpected blessings like this! :)
The moral of this story: teacups + Grandma's bedsheets + cabbage roses + the Hallmark channel = happy. :)
Hope you have some unexpected blessings in your life this December too! :)

ReplyDeleteThis is so cute!! I think my grandma had those same bed sheets!!! I miss her so - I remember when we were young she would just have a fit if we sat down on our already made bed!!! She would shoooo shooo shooo us off and make us sit on the floor to put our shoes on!!! Oh and we were NEVER allowed to put our feet on the "davenport" I always thought she was so funny and prim and proper - not at all like anyone else I knew!! Thanks for bringing back those fun memories for me :)
