Hip Hop! December Daily Albums

This week's Hip Hop challenge was to create a December Daily Album (or layout).  I have to tell you... this was way out of my comfort zone & I was starting to get a little panicky.  And then... after reading more about them on Ali Edwards & Shimelle's blogs... the whole concept started making sense.  And now, I'm actually REALLY excited about documenting this holiday season.  Just to warn you... I've never scrapbooked.  Ever.  So, this is a first for me. I just think these books will be so cool to look back on in the future.  Who knows?!?  Maybe this will be the start to a new family tradition.

December Daily 2010 cover

I made the cover from cardboard & decided to break out all of my Crate Paper goodies.  It's a little messier than my normal style... but I think I kind of like the drippy paint and all of the texture.

So... I only have one page made so far (or the START to one page).  But... I did have a lot of fun making this already!  I stamped one of my favorite images from the November Kit of the Month onto a transparency sheet and added bits of embellishments here and there.

December Daily Page!

I'm hoping to fill this with lots of memories and pictures.  The boys are at such fun ages right now & I want to try make this Christmas really special for them.
