Happy Hip Hop Thursday, my peeps! Today I have a fun little project for you and a video tutorial!!! Have you seen the fun wrinkly ribbon/cabbage ribbon that's really popular right now? I'm going to show you a SUPER easy way to make it yourself. But... first of all, I wanted to show you a peek at Unity's September Kit of the Month. Oh MyLanta! It could seriously be the best one yet!
So... back to my little project! I wanted to make a cute 'sewing themed' embellishment (because we crafters all know that anything 'sewing themed' is HOT right now!)... and that little idea lead to this:
This is a super simple 'seed packet' envelope that I made with a button card on the front. I made mine to be used as a gift insert, but you could also use it as an embellishment for a scrapbooking layout... or focal point on a card. This would also make THE perfect gift card envelope! This awesome stamp comes from Unity's Le Chic set (available in stores only).
I have a couple of PDF files available for you so that you could print your own pattern for the envelope.
And here is a video tutorial so that you can see it all step by step:
Your next stop on the blog hop is Jen Erickson's blog!
Wow! What lovely creations! Love the idea! and the ribbon is stunning! What a fun way to create your own in any color that you need! Thanks so much for sharing the video :)
