Happy Monday! :) I thought I'd post one of the cards I submitted for the Paper Crafts' Go-to Sketch call that didn't make the cut. I think it's SO funny, b/c one of the cards that DID make it in the magazine uses the same image! Kim Hughes' card is ADORABLE, so if you have the issue, go check it out. :) (Kim hand cut her band-aids & wrote her own sentiment & I used stamps drawn by Kim.)
Supplies:
Stamps: Cornish Heritage Farms (bandages, sentiment – Comforting Hugs set)
Ink: Tsukineko (Memento Tuxedo Black); Clearsnap (Blackbird chalk ink)
Cardstock: Memory Box (Paprika, Eggshell); Papertrey Ink (Kraft)
Printed Paper: Graphic 45 (Playtimes Past, “Dollie’s Teaparty”)
Accessories: Copic (markers); Spellbinders (Scalloped Square Nestabilities die); sewing machine & thread, sandpaper
1. Cut square from Paprika cardstock. Sand edges and layer onto die cut patterned paper. Stitch in place.
2. Adhere die cut panel onto kraft card base.
3. Stamp two bandage images onto Eggshell cardstock. Color with makers and trim. Adhere onto card front using dimensional adhesive.
4. Stamp sentiment.

ReplyDeleteI love the card - I think that's pretty funny the differences in your cards; who would have 'thunk' it!
