I know! I know! 2 posts in 1 day? I couldn't help myself. :) I've been eying the Tuesday Trigger challenge from Paper Craft's Moxie Fab World blog & it was just too pretty not to try out! I love the gorgeous gold and lace walls... along with the clean lines and bursts of unexpected turquoise. Mmmm! Delish!

Here is my card based on the image above. I've been stashing this Hambly screen print for awhile now & I thought it looked so much like the Trigger wallpaper when paired with some brushed gold cardstock.

I got that cute little fabric flower from my blogging pal Courtney Baker. Ever since she taught me how to make these little embellishments, I've been using them everywhere! The one she made me was a crisp white, so in order to make it match my creamy card a little better, I colored the petals with a soft neutral Copic marker & then misted it with Copic's blender solution. I loved the results! It looks delicately tea-stained & ended up matching perfectly! (Thanks again, Courtney!) :)

Another fun thing going on right now on the Moxie Fab site is the 'Start to Finish' challenge. --- or creating the complete card, inside and out! So... I finished the inside of my card to coordinate. I love these sentiments from Papertrey Ink's Boards & Beams set. :)

Thanks for stopping by!!!

  4. The inspiration photo alone was enough to make me happy, but when I scrolled down to your card my mind exploded. So amazing Julie. I cannot believe how awesome that copic colored/misted material flower looks. Are you clever or what? *grin* And the sentiment inside is sweet. and true.
