Choose Your Attitude

Hey everyone! After 'talking' to you last night, I decided to make a quick little card. I really love this sentiment from the latest Kit of the Month by Unity {Wherever You Go}. It's all about choosing your attitude in any situation -- and I thought it was pertinent for me today. :)

Also - Unity is having a Garage Sale today! You can read all about it on the Unity Blog! Fun stuff! :)

I love how the cloud image is separate from the sentiment... which made it really easy to stamp. I added a little shimmer to the sunshine with my Copic glitter pen... and bits of 'diamond' sparkle with rhinestones by Zva. The paper is by Chatterbox (Fabulous Glitter Gingham) and it's really fabulous in my book! I love the color and the shimmery finish on it.

Thanks so much for all of your e-mails and messages! You guys are so encouraging & you lifted my spirit this morning! Have a fantastic day!!! :)

  43. This is a wonderful quote & congratulations on your husbands new job! I can totally relate ~ lost my house due to a separation & life as a single parent can be very very tough (even if it is only because the other parent is having to work impossible hours!!!) Hang in there ~ it does sound like things are looking up!!! I always remind myself that things could be so much worse!!! And I am Thankful!!!

  47. I was just buzzing through the blog hop and then got to yours...had to read the posts about what happened and how God is seeing you through. So glad your dh got the job!
A very wise woman once told me that we really grow in the valley, but we'd rather be on the mountaintop. Praying you hang onto to these many things you've learned and will know God's faithfulness in such a deep, deep way that nothing will ever shake your faith again. God is so good all the time and so faithful to us.
My dh got hurt about 4 years ago and we had some great losses, had to get out of raising cattle because he didn't get better for a couple years and couldn't do the work. During that time corn got so expensive that had we had cattle we might have lost everything. Looking back we see how God preserved us even though it was such a very difficult time financially, emotionally, and physically. God really does know what He is doing. Going through tough things like you have is such stinkin' hard learning times!
Great card and love that quote! God bless.

  48. Love your creativity and always looking for the sunshine in everything. Just until recently I did not know your family's story of your husband's job loss. Congrats on him finding a job. My husband lost his job 3 months ago...and understand all the feelings of some jealousy of others...but keeping faith in God and our purpose while on this earth always first is what he commands of us. I will continue to keep your family in my prayers.

  52. super cute card.

It helps to just let it out sometimes. God is working & He'll get you thru but I know it's hard when people (especially those who aren't believers) seem to be getting everything & having it easy. Keep the faith
