I can't believe it's already NOVEMBER! Yikes! I must be getting old! Time is going by way too fast! So... since it's November, I want to tell you about Cornish Heritage Farms new Stamp of the Month - called Ornaments of Joy. This is a new image designed by Aimee Nugent and is sooo pretty! And, throughout the month, this stamp sells for $3.49 (unmounted) & $5.99 mounted. Talk about a bargain!!!! Seriously!
I have a few samples so far that I wanted to show you. The first one uses the SOTM image stamped with a glue pad and glittered to match this yummy paper by Making Memories. The stamped panel is on vellum & is sandwiched between the cardstock layers to create a window (even though you can't tell from the pic.)
SUPPLIES:
Stamp: - November SOTM (Ornaments of Joy) by Cornish Heritage Farms
Ink: - Essential Glue pad by Tsukineko
Cardtock: - Black Prism CS
Printed Paper: - Red Glittered Poinsettia: FaLaLa by Making Memories
Accessories: - Black organdy ribbon (Michaels) - Wassail brad by Basic Grey - Nestabilities square dies - Fire Truck Red Art Glitter
For my second project, I glittered the SOTM image using some of the salvaged glitter that my son enjoys getting into. (For those of you who haven't heard my stories of torment... my 3 yr. old loves to be "crafty". On this occasion, I had just opened a box of beautiful assorted ultra fine glitter and came back to find all of them dumped onto the carpet. My son said he was cooking. Errr!) I think this is a mixture of red, pink, and blue... but it's hard to tell. It actually coordinates really well with my paper! LOL!

I love making holiday cards with non-traditional colors! I just discovered this new paper by Crate Paper and didn't want to only use it for fall! (This sketch is from Jen del Muro's SFYTT this week.) I had a small chipboard ornament that I coated in about 6 layers of chocolate scented embossing powder. (Yum!) To make it look more like the ornament in the stamp, I added a rub-on swirl right on top of the chocolate... I mean embossing powder.
