The Heat is On!

Happy Monday! My son -Eli- turned 7 this weekend and has been asking to go to Holiday World for the past 11+ months. :) This is a fun little amusement park that's only a few hours away that we go to every year to celebrate his birthday. Thank goodness they have a huge water park, because it was H-O-T this weekend!!!

This is a picture (below) of Eli at the end of the day... covered in vanilla ice cream. He's so worn out and has no idea what we're all laughing at. :)

Now.... moving onto something else that's H-O-T...............

Today’s challenge at Cornish Heritage Farms is to use scented embossing powders or heat.
I found these acrylic blocks a few months ago in Target's Dollar Spot and knew I would eventually find a use for them. I have some YUMMY coffee scented embossing powder from CHF and thought it would be fun to make a coffee coaster set! (Oh! And btw, scented embossing powders are on sale this week on the farm!!!)

A couple of the other girls got their 'Heat On' too! Make sure you check out these blogs!

  2. I've always wanted to go to Holiday World...it looks like so much fun! Unfortunately we're at the opposite end of the state, and the way gas prices are this summer, I don't think we'll be making that trip. Thanks for sharing the pictures and your project!

  4. This is so cute! glad you had fun at H.W. How bad was the flooding and did you all get hit where you live? My parents live right by the White River (well, they aren't right by it but the town is) and it was pretty bad there.

  5. Those are great! what a cute gift idea! :)

To get that updated blogroll- go under add an element to your layout and it's called Bloglist (not to be mistaken with blogroll- which is still there.)
