Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day everyone!!! I've been making cards all week, trying to think of the perfect card for my mom. I was browsing through my Google Reader posts and found a list of Mother's Day quotes on CPS's site. As I was scrolling down, I laughed out loud and knew I had found the perfect sentiment for my mom's card.

The outside reads: Mom, you know you're more than welcome to come over to my place for dinner. But there's one little problem...

Inside: All the food that I have needs to be cooked. Happy Mother's Day!

Now, I love to cook (well... I love to eat -- which inspired my love to cook). But, as our family has increased (and as my stamping hobby has taken over)... I find myself cooking nice meals less and less & cooking chicken nuggets with mac & cheese more and more. My mom is so awesome and feeds us quite a bit. :) We laugh and tell my parents that they'll never have empty nest syndrome because we never leave. All but one of my siblings live in the same town, so we get together quite a lot. We still eat together most Sunday afternoons... and on nights that I work, my mom sometimes has dinner for us too. She rocks. :)

So... I hope you're having a good day! Here's the deets on my card:

I printed the sentiment off of my computer, using one of Kim Hughes' fonts that you can purchase online.
