A Day Late...

This past week has been super busy! I can't WAIT for school to be out. I know it sounds strange... but my DH is a teacher & coach and there's some sporting event or late practice every day of the week! BLUCK! I highly esteem any single mom out there, because doing everything on your own is not easy. I know that this is only for a season -- so that helps. For those of you who are 'full-time' single moms -- you are my heroes! Not having my DH around 1/3 of the year is a struggle! I am READY for June!

So... enough venting for me. Yesterday, Kim Hughes released two new sets for Cornish Heritage Farms. I REALLY REALLY REALLY love these sets!!! These sets are quickly moving to the top of my favorite list (right up there with Baked With Love).

I just got my 'school' set in the mail yesterday, so I can't wait to ink it up! Below are a couple of cards I made using the Landing Pad set. I love this set because the branches can be used horizontally or vertically... and I love fun nature images! And... they work perfectly with Kim's other bird and owl images. :)

I added some details to the bird bath using a fine tipped black marker. Stitches are all rub-ons.
