Do What You Can

Wow! It's been almost a week since my last post! Life has been crazy here! All other things kind of went on the back burner -- and I'm sure most of you can understand that daily posts are not a priority in the grand scheme of things. ;)
So... I'm going to TRY to catch up on all of the things going on right now. :)

This is a card I made for the Backgrounder Blitz going on right now at Cornish Heritage Farms. Today's challenge is to make a card using a CHF Background stamp following the sketch by Lisa Strahl (see posts below for daily challenge schedule). We're having a lot of fun chatting away in the forums and seeing everyone's cards that they've uploaded in the gallery.

CHF is also giving away new Background stamps daily!!! So make sure you come join the fun!

The card above features a brand new BG stamp that will be released at the end of our Backgrounder Blitz. I love the subtle pattern! And isn't this sentiment amazing? It was just what I needed this week. You will just die when you see some of the new sentiment sets soon to be released!!!!

Oh! I almost forgot to tell you about a new set that was released this week - called Script Essential Expressions. This is a companion set to the Classic Essential Expressions set released earlier.

I'm quoting from Mona's site: "I created this set of sentiments for those of you who love to create coordinating card sets and gifts or are always searching in your collection for just the right sentiment, that's just the right size. Value for your money is always a must as well so...how does 56 stamps for $24.99 sound? Yahoooo! They measure approximately 3/4 of an inch high and range in length to a bit over 2 inches."
SUPPLIES/INSTRUCTIONS for above card:

I didn't have any white or black brads, so I heated silver brads and dipped into the same embossing powder. If you heat and quickly re-dip your brads a few times, you get great coverage!
