Pucker Up!

The first time I laid eyes on the new Copic Spica glitter pens, I knew I HAD to have the yellow one to use with my Rubber Soul lemonade stamps! It's too bad it doesn't show up in the photo, because these pens do AMAZING things! :) I love glitter and these pens pack a punch!

I love the saying "When Life Gives You Lemons...."! -- And isn't this little lemonade stand the cutest ever? I was flipping through my Garden Variety paper pack and thought this striped paper would be just perfect. I love how Rubber Soul's paper packs coordinate with their colored note cards and envelopes. It just makes it too easy! (and I am NOT complaining!) So, I picked out Copics that coordinated with the paper and colored in my scene. The pitcher is colored in with the Spica pen and is so sparkly IRL. I masked the lemonade stand and added a little celery shadow.

I used my SU Word Window punch (punched twice, side-by-side) to create an opening that would fit my sentiment. It just needed a little something... so I stamped the large lemonade pitcher onto a "shrinky-dink" and added it next to the sentiment. I still get such a kick out of heating this stuff up and watching it do it's magic. So fun!

I just couldn't put these stamps down, so I decided to make a card for Julee Tilman's Mojo Monday sketch challenge. I didn't have any green brads, so I just 'painted' them with my Copic marker.

So... my house is a wreck and I've got a lot of work to do today on my day off. Wish I had a real glass of fresh squeezed lemonade. Hmm......
