This is the card I was promising you last night. I already had all of the paper out for my MFT's card, so putting this one together was a breeze! I love it when things all fall into place without a lot of effort! I've been having a lot of fun participating in SCS's Dare to Get Dirty Challenges this past week... but I haven't been able to get into my stamping room for a while. So... I combined several challenges together.
The sketch challenge comes from Julia.
Jamie's challenge was to fall back on black (the idea is to incorporate black to make your design really POP!). And... Iris challenged us to incorporate chipboard into our projects.
I LOVE this quote by Helen Keller! The stamp is by Penny Black (called 'the best'). The stick people come from Wordsworth (Stick Love). It's a long stamp with three images, so I just chose the one I liked the most and only inked that area. I colored them in with Copics and paper pieced the dress. The heart chipboard comes from SU (Simon Lower I believe). All of the patterned paper, once again, is by American Crafts (ala Mode). The only other paper I used was Basic Black by SU and Papertrey's white CS. The twill ribbon is by Martha.
