Batter Up!

My father-in-law asked me to make 'thank you' cards for the parents of one of the teams he coached this summer. When I make cards in multiple quantities, they HAVE to be simple! I am usually a 'one card only' card maker. I guess I get bored easily. My husband is also a baseball coach for the high school where he teaches. So between the two of them and my two boys, I'm sure I'll get a lot of use out of these baseball themed supplies!

Isn't this baseball stamp CUTE! I found it online from A Muse (called Batter). It's colored in with Copic markers. I love how smooth these markers color! No stroke marks/lines! Then, I made a mask and stamped a small dirt mound under his feet with a shaddow stamp by C.C. Designs.

The patterned paper is all from Die Cuts With a View. I was so excited when I found a baseball paper stack! How perfect! I just cut strips of the baseball stitching paper and added some black backing. The sentiment is by Papertrey Ink (Paper Tray).

  1. This is great. Love the stitching border.

  2. Terrific card! Love the paper and stitching!

  3. Great Thank You card. What cool paper as I thought it was real stitching! Ida

  4. Cute card! I love the simplicity of the A Muse stamp, and the paper is perfect!
