There are certain images that just pull at my heart-strings. I absolutely love embroidery hoops. I'm not sure what the fascination is. Maybe it reminds me of simpler times... or maybe I'm just naturally magnetized to anything that symbolizes "handmade." I found this hoop shape in the Silhouette store & knew I would put it to good use. I love the little stitching lines that are part of the cut-out! I know I've mentioned this before, but the Cameo cuts so perfectly! I love that machine!
If you notice below (in my supply list), the hoop shape comes just as one solid piece. To create a wooden hoop AND a "fabric" interior, I simply added a circular cut line before I cut out my craft cardstock. (I cut out my ledger paper regularly & then glued my altered kraft section on top.) I love that the Silhouette will allow you to alter designs so easily!

The paper & buttons are from October Afternoon's Farmhouse collection. The ribbon is actually part of Crate Paper's Peppermint Trims - but you would never know it was a holiday ribbon!
I finally got to use one of my favorite stickers from the Amy Tangerine Remarks Sticker set! I love silhouettes & I love woodgrain... so the combo is pretty awesome in my book!
I am also REALLY loving these scripted words by Ali Edwards. (They're part of a stamp set from Technique Tuesday.) I only wish my own handwriting looked so pretty!
