Anyone else glad it's Friday?!? If you're a Studio Calico fan, make sure to read through my post to find an awesome giveaway!
My newest Studio Calico kits arrived & I've been dying to dive in! This month was the inaugural month for the new Card Kit & it's packed with awesomeness. I love the smaller papers & adorable stamps & embellishments.
I'm a huge coffee lover & fell in love with all of the coffee-themed goodies in the SC digital shop this month. I used one of the cut files with my silhouette to create a card/gift card holder. (The digital items are only available until the 27th of every month.)
If you've ever purchased a Studio Calico kit, you might have noticed the information cards that are included. Usually the cards have information about upcoming collections or happenings on one side & a printed design on the other. The designs are too cute to throw away, so I've been saving some of my favorites & used one today to cut my coffee cup out of.
I used another digital kit to create the arrow embellishment above. I just punched the image into a circle & topped it with an acrylic sticker. The striped flag is also a part of the kit. I tucked some new Amy Tangerine paper leaves in for a little added texture.
I love packaging up gift cards in creative ways & thought it would be fun to tuck one right inside the coffee cup for a little surprise. This "pull here" die cut is also part of the new Amy Tangerine Ready Set Go collection. (I'm going to purchase a Starbucks gift card & adhere it to the back of the die cut.)
I didn't want the gift card peeking through the other side of the cup, so I created a little hidden pocket by layering two pieces of kraft paper together. There's an opening on the top kraft layer that allows the card to slide in & out easily.
I used several of the arrow stamps from the Card Kit set (created by Lawn Fawn!) on both the front & inside of my card.
And now... I have a fun giveaway to share with you! How would you like to win Studio Calico's September Scrapbooking Kit?!?
