Happy Monday! I hope your week is getting off to a great start! I'm counting down the minutes until it's Studio Calico reveal time. I'm super excited about the new Card Kit & the exclusive Lawn Fawn stamp set that's included for this first month! If you're a subscriber, you can order at noon EST today & if not, pop in tonight at midnight to see if you can snatch a new kit.
Speaking of Lawn Fawn, have I told you lately how much I'm in love with the new Dewey Decimal collection? ;)
One of my favorite papers is called “Words Per Minute” & is full of adorable typewriters. I fussy cut around one of the coral ones & then used my Exacto knife to cut away the inside of the typewriter paper.
I backed the image with white cardstock & stamped the word “hello” from the new Birdie Told Me set. (Yes, my typewriter types in cursive.) ;)
I used the herringbone background image from the new Interlocking Backdrops stamp set to ground the typewriter image.
Studio Calico's Boss Lady mist is the perfect coral shade to match my typewriter! The star from the Heyday Ephemera pack also is a perfect match.
To bring in one of my other favorite colors (mint), I added strips from Echo Park's Everyday Ephemera 6x6 pad & stitched them in place.
And now... the winner from my Gardeners' Digest post of the new Words Unsaid workshop from Two Peas is....
Cute card, Julie! I would so love to take this class. I need help big time when it comes to journaling for my layout. Thanks for the chance. :) Twopeas name: wirianta
