Two Peas Gardeners' Digest: June

Welcome to the Gardeners' Digest, a monthly update from the Garden Girls, the design team at Two Peas In a Bucket!

These are a couple of cards that I made for the Garden this week:

I love wood veneer & it's so fun to customize it for the occasion.  I used a white gel pen & Sharpie to create the happy couple below. (You can find more details & supplies HERE.)

It's hard to believe that July is right around the corner!  I made this patriotic card that would be perfect to give to a soldier or their spouse.  It would also be a great hostess "thank you" at a 4th of July party. (You can find supplies & info on this card HERE.)

Dawn McVey is one of my all-time favorite cardmakers and this card is a prime example of her creative genius.  I love the blend of embellishments, paper & stamps and these new Studio Calico Heyday goodies just make my mouth water!

1. Scotch ATG: This is one of my "must have" tools.  If you want your projects to hold (even years later) than this is the adhesive for you!  Love. Love. Love this adhesive!


2. Heyday 6x6 pad: This is a brand-new collection from Studio Calico.  The patterns & colors are just gorgeous & they're even better in person.  My new favorite go-to paper!


3. Heyday Sentiments Stamp Set: This is such a great set!  The sentiments are nice & basic but the fonts & designs are trendy and out-of-the-box.  The perfect combination in my book!  And... all of Studio Calico's stamps are made by Hero Arts, so you know the quality of the stamps are superb.


4. Sunnyside Stamp Set by Pebbles: Another great sentiment set!  I know I'll be reaching for this set over & over again.


5. Simple Stories 6x8 album: I just finished Lisa Truesdell's awesome new Divide & Conquer Workshop where she used this album to create a mini album in a "Projet Life" style format.  These albums come with dividers & page protectors & are the perfect size for those smaller projects.
