I'm so excited to share the new March kits from Studio Calico! (I love typing the word "March" because that must mean that spring is on its way! I'll just ignore the huge winter storm warnings for this weekend that tell me otherwise.)
This month's kits are called Office Hours. There are kits for scrapbookers, Project Lifers & card makers… and you can find them all here.
I got to work with the Office Hour card kit & the Water Cooler card kit add-on this month. You can see all of my projects as well as the rest of the team's designs in the Creative Team gallery.
These kits make card making SO easy! Let me show you an example:
Just layer patterned paper, tie a big bow, & stamp a sentiment. Voila!
And the stamps are so versatile & fun! I stamped the sailboat inside of the bottle image using several of the new Color Theory ink pads. The colors are so vibrant & go perfectly with the kits.
I love using my Silhouette & was really excited to be able to contribute some designs to the digital shop this month. The designs are really inexpensive & are so easy to use.
The top image is called Office Hour Tea Cuts. The tea bag is designed so that you can add your own twine to give it a more realistic look. I've really been enjoying a cup of hot tea in the afternoons (did I mention that this has been a long winter?) and that was the inspiration for this design.
This next image is called Office Hours Brit Cut. I'm also a big fan of all things British. Downton Abbey anyone???
Here's a card I made with the Tea cut files above:
If you're shopping this weekend and want any suggestions, I really, REALLY love this new Color Theory paper pack. If you were a fan of the classic Sassafras brand, you will definitely love this paper too. It's designed by the same artists. I just ordered my second pack. It's pretty in the picture, but sooo much prettier even in person. It's extremely versatile & works perfectly with the new Color Theory inks & embellishments.
Have a great weekend! Happy shopping & stay warm! :)
Fab cards Julie - I love the big pink bow on your first one ;) These kits look great fun! Rx
