Sharing Peeks of February's Sugar Rush Kits

 

Studio Calico's February {Sugar Rush} reveal is just around the corner (January 27th for subscribers!)  I've been having a lot of fun playing with the new kits... and when I say "playing", I mean that kind of literally.

One of my favorite projects I made this month is this Sleeping Beauty paper doll set:

 I have a full tutorial on how to make them coming soon.  P.S. The box that the Project Life kit comes in makes a perfect bed for this princess!

I used several of the upcoming digital goodies on my projects this month.  I used one of the cut files on this card:

The paper & stamps from the card kits this month are just beautiful!  And the gold detail in the hearts?  That's part of the ribbon that's included in the kit this month.

For this card, I used a kite stamp to create a geometric background.   It turns a very girly, cute stamp set into something edgy & perfect for a guy.  I love that versatility!

 Speaking of cute & girly, here's another peek at a card I made:

 I actually made this card on Martin Luther King day.  I was just thinking about how far we have come & how far we still have to go.  This one is all about unity, diversity, & friendship... with a touch of glitter

The Sugar Rush card kit also comes with these cute little crown stamps that can be used with the little guy/girl image or stamped on their own.  It made me think of the song "Royals" by Lorde, so I added a custom sentiment at the bottom with part of the lyrics from the song.
