I love this time of year! I don't know if it's the approaching Thanksgiving holiday or just life in general, but lately I've had an overwhelming feeling of gratitude. I guess it's spilled out into my card making too, because as I was uploading pictures for this blog post, I noticed that they all have a common theme. :)
I've just been having fun layering and adding texture to projects these days. Yes, now that I think about it, I'm sure the cooler temps are influencing my creative flow.
When you're a mom of little rascally boys, you can never have too many teacher appreciation cards on hand. ;)
I covered this veneer apple with washi & snapped off the stem on accident in the process. Actually, I think I like the brown twine better anyway. I love happy accidents! (And btw, how cute is that heart in the woodgrain washi pattern?!?)
I shared a sneak of this project before, but here is the full card in all its glory. ;) I'm really digging the wide washi these days! They're great for adding strips of interest.
I've got a full plate today, so I don't have time to link up individual product images for this post. You can, however, find them all in my Two Peas gallery by clicking HERE. Don't forget to use your 25% off coupon if you do any shopping! :) (see post below)
So fab, Julie! I love that last card especially! Can you believe I've never used washi tape!? What's WRONG with me?!?!? :)
