As I mentioned in my earlier post, I had the opportunity to work with Studio Calico's November Card Kit. I just took a peek & it looks like there are still a few kits left! (You can chose to either purchase a single kit or subscribe monthly.) Make sure to check out the Studio Calico blog today for even more inspiration.
Here are a few cards that I've created with the kit:
The exclusive wood veneer feathers were one of my favorite things from the kit. I applied a little ink to the smaller feathers above for some added dimension. The bird die cut is from the Silhouette Studio.
This card was so fun to make! The November kit comes with a lot of buttons, so I just stacked them to create this frosty friend:
I flicked Mister Huey's white mist over the patterned paper to mimic snow. The stamp set from this kit is really versatile too!
I loved this "happy" flair & thought it would be fun to use it as a focal point for a birthday card. I layered it over one of the Jenni Bowlin stickers & cut a "bow" using my Silhouette.
When you lift the bow, a gift card is revealed! I love hidden surprises like this. It's just a fun, simple way to dress up a gift - which will definitely come in handy this holiday season.
If you're a Card Kit subscriber & make projects using the kits, please link them up! I'd love to see them! It has been so much fun getting to work with Studio Calico for this release. I know you are going to love working with this kit too!
these are GREAT! Love the button snowman and the gift card holder (clever)!
