Unity is introducing a new artist today! Samantha Walker is actually well known in the scrapbooking world... but has teamed up with Unity to create some amazing new stamp kits that I'm super excited about! There are four kits being released today - which you can find out more about on the Unity Blog & the Paper Crafts Connection Blog as well. How awesome is that!?!
These kits will be for sale on the Unity Website - Discounted 25% this THURSDAY THROUGH MONDAY. (They will be for sale on the Unity website for $21.75 each.) Kit of the Month members will get ANOTHER 25% off this sale price.
The stamp set that I got to use is called Butterfly Garden. I was doing a happy dance when I opened my Unity package and found this kit inside. Shhh! Don't tell anyone, but this is my favorite kit of all the new releases. This set is elegant and cute all in one... and is packed with design possibilities! It's really gorgeous! Want to see what I made tonight?
I heat embossed the main image onto this yummy Gravel cardstock from the Paper Source. Then... I went back with my Versamark pen and darkened sections of the intricate image. I stamped the butterfly a second time with orange ink and popped it off of my card. To tie my card colors together, I colored some Kaiser pearls with Copics and added them to some of the flower centers.
I really loved the sentiment that's included in the kit. I seem to send 'Thank You' cards more than anything else & the font is so cool!
So... for those of you who would like to win a FREE Unity set - here's the scoop! You can win the groovy set Love Bug by commenting on my blog today! If you follow my blog (either by subscription or by clicking on the 'followers' link on the side bar), feel free to leave a second comment letting me know! You'll get an additional chance of winning! :) Make sure to check out the other designers' blogs and the Splitcoast forum for more chances to win some cool stamps!
