Can I just tell you again how much I love the new Cosmo Cricket stamps by Unity?!? I wish I had more hours in the day because I could just stamp and never stop! They're just so cute! So... today, I have a couple of cards to share with you from the Material Girl sets and the Garden Variety set.
***And... I have an AWESOME Unity stamp set to give away to one of my readers -- Lollipop Tree You & Me!!! Just leave a comment on this post to be qualified. If you follow my blog, let me know & you can have an additional chance to win. :)
This card was super fun to make! I used a sketch from this week's CPS challenge to get me started.
I love using everyday items for embellishments! I just stuck an ordinary needle and thread through my paper and wrapped some additional thread around my stamped spool. Easy peasy and super cheap-o!
The next card comes from this weeks 2 Sketches 4 You layout. I love this 'Momma Hen' image (isn't that scarf on her head adorable?!?)... and her baby chicks are just as cute! This card is for a friend of mine who always helps me out in a pinch when I need someone to watch my boys while I'm at work. The littlest chick reminds me of my youngest son who never seems to pay attention. LOL!
I just printed out the sentiment for my card from my computer and cut it out. If it's too small to read, it says, "Thanks for taking care of my brood!" :)
Thanks for checking out my cards today! Your next stop on the hop will be Jen Erickson's blog!
These are ADORABLE! I LOVE the thread on the 1st card and those little chickies are too sweet! Awesome cards today, julie!

If it's not too late, I'll stick my name in for the giveaway. Love your blog -- you're in my google reader, does that count as following? Such cute cards. The one with the little chickies is precious and the sentiment you created just perfect.
ReplyDeleteGreat job with your cards. I love the sewing card with the needle and the wording is super cute. Also I love that you printed the wording for the second card. Great idea! I played along on the second sketch and that one was really hard I felt like to stay with the pattern! You did a great job though and I love the little ducklings!
