Hey everyone! It's another Hip Hoppin' Unity Thursday! (If you've just stumbled upon my blog and would like to start at the beginning of the blog hop, CLICK HERE.) I'm excited to share my first project using the new April Kit of the Month, Together We Bloom.
I was cleaning my craft room the other day and found a box full of my great grandmother's fabric scraps. My grandma gave me these years and years ago & I'm so glad I kept them. Who knew that vintage prints were going to be the newest trendy accessory? :) And, it makes me happy using these bits and pieces that she lovingly saved. I think anyone who lived through the Great Depression learned to value everything & didn't waste things like we so often do today. I love looking at these tiny remnants that still bear the creases and folds that her hands created.
I used this week's CPS sketch for my layout. Everything's a little haphazard and full of imperfections. I just love that sentiment and know that it's going to come in handy. :) Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek!
