Make Something Wonderful...

Good morning! :) Today, I have a card for you using some more of my most favorite things. First up, I LOVE this crafty tree image from Unity Stamps! The branches are covered with little buttons, and birdies, and flowers --- need I say more? So sweet! So... when I was thumbing through my Material Girl 6x6 pad (Cosmo Cricket) and saw this button printed paper, I knew I had a match made in craft heaven. ;) I just snipped a couple of buttons from the paper and glued them right on top of the stamped buttons in my tree. They are EXACTLY the same size! How perfect is that?!? I added a little glaze over the tops just to make them stand out even more.

I added a little chipboard sentiment from Melody Ross' Homespun Chic collection (GCD Studios). I think this sentiment is SO true. And... I think that's one of the reasons I love this craft so much. I love taking something ordinary and giving it a new 'life'. Makes me happy. :)

Thanks for visiting this morning! I just looked out the window to find that my tire is flat... and now my car is refusing to start. I'm trying to think positive. Ugh! ;) Wish me luck.

  2. Think positive, BE positive! Sorry about your flat tire and non-cooperating car. But you have to be the most cheerful, honet-to-goodness happy person I've ever met in blogland, so keep the smile on your face girly. OH, and your card makes ME happy with all the colors and tiny bits of goodness everywhere. The stamped girl on the pale green, that luscious twill, the glazed buttons... it makes me smile!
