Diggin' on Doilies!

Yeah. I know. Three posts in one day. Yikes! BUT... I wanted to make a couple of cards for the latest Moxie Fab World challenge... using doilies! I just got this new cling doily stamp from Hero Arts & I'm definitely diggin' it!

For my first card, I wanted to go soft and feminine again... with a vintage feel. The flowers are from the same rub-on set as the post below (Fancy Pants) and the sentiment is from Melody Ross' Homespun Chic collection. The cute gingham print is from Cosmo Cricket's Material Girl line.

Embrace the Journey

I was having so much fun with this challenge that I decided to go big and bold this time. I used red embossing powder to really give the doily image some POP! The sentiment for this card is from Melody too (the Artsy Urban collection) & the heart was cut out of vinyl using my Cricut.

Just Be Who You Are

Here's an inside shot of my card. I used watermark ink to give a hint of the cool doily image.

Just Be Who You Are (inside)

Thanks for checking everything out! :)

  4. OK, so when am I going to get one of your GORGEOUS creations in the mail, huh? *smile* The vintage pink and green one above is amazing Julie. The gingham, the sewing, the lighter pink underlayer, the two tone sentiment...it's just plain perfect.
And the awesome red and blue one made me do a double take (and I don't even LIKE red)! I love the distressed blue underlayer, the ep, the touch of gingham behind the sentiment and the awesome sparkly pin!
