OK. I finally took the plunge. This is my first video tutorial.... so please be kind. ;) I think this was take #5 & my voice was about shot at that point. It's so hard to hear yourself talking. LOL!
Anyway... this is a video I made showing how I make fabric flower embellishments. I hope it makes sense and is helpful to you. Let me know what you think & if you have any questions! :)

ReplyDeleteHi Julie,
ReplyDeleteI just discovered your blog today. I am looking forward to more of your video tutorials. I think you did a good job with it. One suggestions on the filming, you may want to the camera directly above you because as you were putting the Fabri-tac on the fabric, all I could see was your hand. otherwise good...I have a question about the fabric flower. I saw you put it on a card and think that is a great idea but is that a card that you will actual mail or hand deliver? If you mail it, do you use a regular A2 Envelope or something bigger?
thanks,
Ali
Ali - Thanks for the video tips. Believe me... if you saw the contraption I used to accomplish what view I did have... you would probably be shocked. LOL! Let's just say... it envolved a lot of tape. ;) Once I can find a large tri-pod, I'm sure the video quality will improve. (fingers crossed)
ReplyDeleteAs far as mailing the cards - I would probably put it in a bubble envelope or hand deliver it.
Julie, Thank you so much for teaching us to do the lovely little flower. I thought it looked *weird* while you were making it, but when you showed the card, it was perfectly ADORABLE. Love it! and wonderful job on the video for a first time... it will improve with time I am certain! Thank you again!
