I hadn't put away my supplies from my last card (and I wonder where my kid's get it!)... and decided to make a couple more while I was at it. I had my June Bug paper stored away and I'd forgotten how much I loved it! The colors are so happy. :)
This first card uses another image & sentiment from Unity's Store kit (Livin' & Lovein' Life). I love how whimsical that flower is! (The inspiration for this layout comes from the CARDS blog challenge that's going on right now.) Zip, zap, DONE! What an easy card! :)
And... this one's packed full of June Bug goodies. I've been wanting to try cutting out a large image from patterned paper to use as my focal point, & this paper was FULL of great possibilities! The large flower and small leaves were trimmed, tucked here and there, and bumped up with dimensional adhesive.
I was going through my husband's great-grandmother's vintage buttons and found JUST exactly what I needed to dress up my card. I wish you could see this card in person. The dimension and texture is really fun.
That's it for me today! I'm trying to prepare myself for the start of a new week. Busy, busy! Hope yours is wonderful!!!

ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous, what a fabulous take on the inspiration card! I really loved that June Bug collection. I am a corner rounder girl and I LOVE how you rounded just the right bottom corner!
