For a 'Hip' Dad!

Today's Unity Hip Hop is all about 'Dads'!!! Father's Day is just around the corner, so get ready to be inspired! The Unity girls have some great ideas to celebrate the men in your life! Make sure you begin your blog hop at the Unity Blog!

Here are my 2 boys and their Daddy-O showing off their latest Lego creations. :)

I wanted to make something a little different this Father's Day and came across THIS tutorial that I thought would be fun to try out! I made a cardstock wallet out of dark gray CS & some cool Anna Griffin paper (from the Peyton Collection). Instead of gluing all of my parts and pieces together, I used my sewing machine to make it look a little more realistic.

The cute little embossed image on the front of my wallet is from Unity's Little Me set. As soon as I saw this image, I knew I HAD to have it! It really reminds me of my boys and their dad. :)
This wallet is pretty cool! It opens up in the back & can hold paper bills just like the real thing... and there are lots of little pockets perfect for pictures or gift cards.

I printed the sentiment onto cardstock and added bits of color with my Copic glitter pens. The sentiment reads, "A father carries pictures where his money use to be."

Are you ready for more fun Father's Day creations? Make your way over to see:
