It's time for another Jiffy challenge with some of my favorite stamping buddies! :) This month, I chose the image 'Day Dreamer' from Sugar Nellie for the team to use... and Alli picked some fun Spring-filled paper by Jillibean Soup! Since neither of us discuss our choices before-hand... I discovered the combination of the two was a little tricky to pull off! But... in the end, I kind of like how it all turned out. The curvy sentiment is part of April's Kit of the Month from Unity. I added a piece of acetate to my window to make it look more realistic... but it's hard to see in the photo. You'll just have to take my word for it. :)

Look at that little blonde cutie -- I guess stamps tend to look like their owners, huh?! Love how you perched the sentiment up around the window and your multi-colored birdies! Fabulous, Jules!
ReplyDeleteLove that curved sentiment. Just got my Unity Kit in the mail over the weekend. I really want to get something 'crafty' done with it. :) Anywho - love your coloring and how you used the butterfly printed paper. It ROCKS - I'm praying for you, Jules...and right this minute, I'm going to download this beautiful song on my iPod... it all rides on hope, babe. Love ya!
ReplyDeleteFabulous card. Love the colorful birds and how you have added the sentiment to the top corner of the window. Have a great day
ReplyDeleteYou are SO right about how tricky the image and paper was!!! But you totally pulled it off. I love the colouring, the offset placement of the image and the curvy verse.
ReplyDeleteSo cute, Julie! I like that you and Alli used the butterflies. I really like them (but they scared me-lol). I love the look of the acetate over the window and that curvy sentiment! Thanks for choosing such an adorable image! It was fun!
