I've been tagged by my blogging buddies Lori & Maren! I usually don't play along with these things... but this one looks kind of fun. So... here are the rules:
•Open your photo folder on your computer
•Open the 6th folder of photos
•Select the 6th picture
•Post the picture on your blog with a description
•Invite six friends to join the challenge
•Link your six friends to your blog post
So... this isn't too exciting... but you can get a peek into my kitchen/dining area. We live in an OLD farmhouse and love antiques and primitives. This little piece of furniture belonged to my husband's great-grandmother. It's all still original, except for the little homespun skirt I made for the front. The dried flower arrangement above was made by my mom. (She grew the flowers, hung them to dry, and made this for me. I love it!) When we moved into our house, we tried to bring it back to what it might have looked like in it's original state. All of the lower walls have been painted and antiqued. (we still have more work to go.... ugh!). And... the floors are original. We ripped up the carpet and painted them a deep red color. It will do for now until we can really re-do the floors. It's always a work in progress!!! And now... I'm trying to figure out who hasn't already been tagged that won't kill me for writing their name down. LOL! Hmm.... sorry guys! :)
