Welcome Neighbor!

I love it when things just come together! I had ordered some fun fabric paper by Love Elsie that I hoped would go well with Kim Hughes' house image found in her set 'A Welcome Hug' by Cornish Heritage Farms. I think they were 'meant for each other'!!! I added some hinges to the edge to mimic a front door. Simple and sweet!

This sketch is based off off Jen Del Muro's Saturday Sketch Challenge. Thanks for the inspiration, Jen!!! :)

Stamps:
- A Welcome Hug: the Kim Hughes Collection by CHF

Card Stock:
- Spring Willow Dark; Papaya Puree Dark; Vanilla Cream: Prismatic Card Stock by Prism Paper

Printed Paper:
- Jack+Abby Neighbors self-adhesive fabric paper by Love Elsie

Ink:
- Lettuce, Terra Cotta, Sunshine Yellow & Cranberry Adirondack Ink by Ranger
- Frayed Burlap Distress Ink by Ranger (added to edges of rust-colored panel)

Accessories:
- Niji Waterbrush
- We R Memory Keepers Copper Hardware

Techniques:
- watercoloring- scoring (I used a scoring tool to create a border on my rust-colored panel)

*** On a side note.... I was trying to work on my blog template and somehow all of my information has disappeared from my sidebar. :( I just want to cry! Hopefully I can get everything coded again later this week.

  2. I love your card. Those hinges are way too cool. On another note--I'm so sad for you that you lost your side bar information. It must be an awful feeling!
