Vacation Time!

I know it's been awhile since my last posting, but our family is on vacation.... and I can't seem to get my laptop to work. I was just on Nichole Heady's blog and found out that one of my entries to Papertrey Ink. received honorable mention again! How exciting!!! As soon as I get back home, I'll post more details. We're having a blast!!!

I finally figured out how to get a picture transferred, so here are some details:

Every month, the company - Papertrey Ink. - has a contest using their newly released set(s). This was a really fun card to make. I think the large rectangular images make great beach towels! I stamped the image with Versamark, added Heat & Stick Powder, and finally topped with Fun Flock. It looks just like a soft fluffy towel! This card is very textile. I used strips of sandpaper for the beach. The beach ball is made from an image from the Butterfly Kisses set. I stamped one of the floral images from Text Boxed in a bright yellow and then rolled the edges in red. The sun's rays are made from the three dotted image in the set - and then glittered.

This is my second 'Honorable Mention' entry. Maybe next time......... I'll keep crossing my fingers! ;)
