The Chicks are a Little Sketchy Today....

Happy Labor Day!!! I hope most of you are enjoying a day of relaxation today! :) It's Monday, and that means the CHF Chicks are Challenging each other again. This week... Mona (Lisa Strahl) challenged us with a sketch. I love having a sketch to go by! If you're ever stumped on a design - I encourage you to find a sketch to work from. It makes card making so much easier! :)



And.... here's my card:
This was so simple to make! I used the new MochaChica paper pack and cut 3 scalloped circles in it with my Nestabilities dies. Then... I mounted it onto brown CS. I cut 3 smaller circles and adhered them inside of my scalllped areas. The little tree/leaf image comes from the Mocha Chica stamp set that coordinates with the new paper line. I stamped 3 images on different patterns of scrap MochaChica paper and adhered with dimensional foam.

This cute little deer image is part of the new Wood Mounted stamp singles in the Kim Hughes line that will be available this Thursday. Of course, you can also get these images un-mounted and on cling-mount foam (already trimmed and ready to go). These images are going to be great for those who are die-hard wood stampers.... those who hate trimming stamps.... those who aren't ready to purchase an entire set... or for those Brick & Mortar stores who've been begging for this type of image. :)

I stamped the deer onto yet another scrap of MochaChica paper & added details with a white gel pen. The ribbon is by Making Memories.
